Brisbane Office has moved! Not very far - from 93 Musgrave Road, Red Hill to 14/99 Musgrave Road, Red Hill. The small distance moved is compensated by a big change in style - from an old, heritage listed building to a brand new premises.

Osborn Lane and the Chinese economic boom

There has been much talk that the recent economic boom in Australia was partly due to sales to China, where the economy has been expanding rapidly. Now, at last, Osborn Lane has a share in that, with the design of a modest shade cloth sail structure over a viewing platform at a school oval in Beijing. Our first job in mainland China. Our client was Oasis.

Osborn Lane's Hemmant Boat Shed Curtain won the Award of Excellence for Industrial Applications at the 2008 convention of the Industrial Fabric Association International, held in Charlotte, USA. Our client was Copelands+Pickers.

2008 ACASPA Awards

Copelands + Pickers won two awards at the ACASPA 2008 Convention with projects designed and detailed by Osborn Lane. The Hemmant boat shed curtain won the 'Blinds' category - see Project Spotlights for details. And the Whitewater World entry court structure won a Special Commendation in the 'Shade Structures' category. Congratulations to project engineers Charles Ting and Christina Schabmeyer.
