Building Design

We are often asked to carry out building design and documentation, and so we have developed expertise in this area. This can be particularly useful for small building projects, where engaging an architect as well as an engineer may not seem worthwhile. Another common situation is where a building owner has decided what he wants in considerable detail, and so feels that an architect’s design capabilities would be wasted.

Design Management

Complex building projects can require a bewildering array of specialist consultants Building owners may prefer to get Osborn Lane to engage and manage these consultants, taking advantage of our knowledge of the industry, and the capabilities of the various consultants who work within it.

Construction Management

Osborn Lane are not licensed builders. However, we can obtain tenders, select and contract builders, and check on the quality of their work and their progress.

Plant Shut Down Project Management

Osborn Lane Industrial have great experience in documenting and managing the repair and maintenance of mining and industrial plant in the minimum possible time, so as to disrupt production as little as possible. The work typically involves meticulous planning of the operation, co-ordination of the various subcontractors involved, and trouble shooting during the shut down.

Rezoning and other Town Planning

Since we provide engineering services in areas where there are no town planning consultants, we often prepare applications on behalf of landowners to rezone, reconfigure or subdivide allotments.
