Osborn Lane designed about twenty small fabric structures for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, for clients Shade Structures Pacific and Australian Shadola.

The largest of them are shown here: the VIP entry to the main stadium, and a grandstand roof for a warm-up oval, the Crest Field at Bankstown. The entry structure and most of the other structures were removed after the games were finished. Some were sold and re-used; others were dumped.
