The Shell is basically a covered area which can be hired out and used for functions. At 1300 square metres roof area, it could hold one large function, or it can be partitioned to host several smaller functions at the one time.

The structural form is a series of trussed arches arranged in a radial layout. This allowed a relatively simple geometry to produce a pleasant, interstingly curved shape. The advantage of simple geometry is that it saves money by keeping the detailing and fabrication simple.
